Ozil appears to drop hint on Instagram as he ‘begins talks’ with DC United
Mesut Ozil appeared to drop a hint on social media as it was announced that the Arsenal midfielder is in talks with DC United.
According to football.london, the World Cup winner is ready to leave the Gunners after eight years at the club to continue his career in the US.
The MLS side have reportedly offered the German an 'attractive' package, which includes the expansion of his Steps Coffee brand in their Audi Field stadium.
Ozil will also reportedly get his own merchandise line, and will be able to expand his M10 brand across the United States, with him the 'face' of the Washington club.
Ozil was frozen out at Arsenal at the start of the season, with boss Mikel Arteta excluding him from his Premier League and Europa League squads.

The German hasn't kicked a ball since March, and recent hopes that Arteta could U-turn on his decision and reintegrate Ozil have been crushed by the emergence of Emile Smith Rowe.
Ozil has previously stated he is keen to see out the remainder of his £350,000-a-week contract in north London, which expires at the end of the season.
But it seems the lure of playing football, as well as expanding his brand, appeals to Ozil.
The German is known for being vocal on social media, and speaking out about his situation in the press, and will no doubt do so when he gets the chance.
But he appeared to drop a small hint in the meantime on social media, when he posted a story to his Instagram account on Tuesday night.
The image showed merchandise for sale from Ozil's M10 brand, and was posted with the caption: "Love these new M10 street wear caps."
The post illustrates Ozil's passion for building his brand, and it is interesting he should advertise it on the night his mooted move to DC United – which is centred on him expanding his business empire – emerged.
