Granit Xhaka gives Arsenal fans perfect send off with Ashburton Army gesture

Granit Xhaka paused to say goodbye to Arsenal fans – specifically the Ashburton Army – after marking what could prove to be his final appearance for the Gunners with two quickfire goals. The Swiss international is in advanced talks to join Bayer Leverkusen this summer in a deal expected to be worth around £13million.

Xhaka is set to bid an emotional farewell after the conclusion of the final day contest with Wolves.

And the midfield technician served up the perfect leaving present for the home supporters when he scored twice in quick succession to give the Gunners a 2-0 lead over the visitors.

After the first goal, Xhaka took a moment to reflect with the Ashburton Army as he prepares to say goodbye.
