What channel is Saints vs. Buccaneers on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 8 game
Saints quarterback Jameis Winston is making his first start against the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Coming off a 13-10 victory over the Seahawks, Winston is scheduled to host his former teammates in the Mercedez-Benz Superdome. Before he re-signed with the Saints on a one-year deal in March, Winston served as the Buccaneers’ starter for five consecutive seasons. He was first selected as a first-overall pick by the Tampa Bay organization in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Buccaneers star defenseman Jason Pierre-Paul commented on his excitement to reunite with Winston ahead of the matchup. The outside linebacker totals 18 tackles and 2.5 sacks through five matchups.
“I can’t wait, I can’t wait,” Pierre-Paul told reporters following practice on Wednesday. “I’m actually going to text him and tell him to get ready. I can’t wait to play Jameis. It’s going to be fun. He’s like a brother to me. I remember we were hiking in the offseason in Colorado, but I can’t wait to hunt him down. It’s crazy, Jameis is a different type of breed.”
The matchup is scheduled to take place from Caesars Superdome in New Orleans at 4:25 p.m. ET.
