WrestleMania potential match card: Will John Cena and The Undertaker miss WWE megashow?

Roman Reigns returned to full-time action after beating leukaemia and will be competing at WrestleMania, an event he has headlined the last four years, this Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Kurt Angle will put an end to his glittering 21-year career and Triple H may also retire.

RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will make history be becoming the first ever women to compete in the main event of Mania.

John Cena has been linked with a last-minute match whereas The Undertaker may be absent for the first time since 2001.

But who else will be in action?

RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair OFFICIAL

Fans have been expecting Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey to battle each other at WrestleMania ever since last October.

The match finally came together when Rousey won the RAW Women’s Championship and Lynch became the second ever superstar to triumph in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

The Man was later suspended and replaced by Charlotte until WWE management changed their minds and reinstated her to the bout that will become the first ever all-women’s main event match at Mania.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins OFFICIAL

Seth Rollins won the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

Lesnar destroyed Rollins with a whopping six F5s on RAW but the challenger is still convinced he will slay The Beast with the WWE Universe behind him.

The two-time world champion has stated before that he is not pleased with the UFC legend’s part-time schedule and doesn’t feel like he is honouring the Universal Championship.

The Kingslayer will get the chance to bring back the title on a full-time basis on RAW when he locks horns with The Conqueror.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston OFFICIAL

Kofi Kingston has found himself on a pretty similar spot as Daniel Bryan was in 2014.

Bryan was repeatedly denied a shot at the WWE Championship from The Authority even though he had won over the crowd and showed tremendous skills inside the ring.

Kingston was taken off the WWE Championship Match at Fastlane twice by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and was also denied a title shot after beating five of SmackDown’s biggest stars in a Gauntlet Match.

But his New Day partners Big E and Xavier Woods overcame five of the blue brand’s best tag teams in another Gauntlet Match and got their associate his well-deserved championship match.

John Cena vs Elias

Rumours suggest John Cena will compete in another impromptu match after his last-minute bout with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 last year.

Cena is expected to interrupt Elias’ live musical performance and that could lead to fight between them.

The two heavyweights have history with each other as they have been involved in a series of entertaining segments. 

Triple H vs Batista (No Holds Barred Match) OFFICIAL

Batista has been wanting to face his former Evolution mentor Triple H one more time at WrestleMania for years.

The two WWE legends battled at WrestleMania 21 where the Marvel star won his first world title.

The Animal seems to have finally got Triple H’s attention after he attacked their mentor Ric Flair on his 70th birthday.

The two WWE legends have agreed to sort their differences out in a No Holds Barred Match.

Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin (Retirement Match) OFFICIAL

Kurt Angle announced on RAW that he will wrestle his last ever match at WrestleMania.

Angle’s opponent was revealed a week later on RAW and it was Baron Corbin.

Corbin has been the 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist’s nemesis ever since the latter was hired as General Manager of the red brand.

The Lone Wolf was placed as Constable and ultimately replaced him per order of WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon.

Angle has been looking for revenge ever since. 

Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre OFFICIAL

Roman Reigns returned to action following a four-month battle with leukaemia and is set for a big WrestleMania fight.

Reigns reformed The Shield with legendary partners Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the last time ever at Fastlane.

The Hounds of Justice defeated Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley in their last ever match together ahead of Ambrose’s imminent departure from WWE.

McIntyre wasn’t happy with that loss and so he attacked Reigns from behind on RAW.

The Scottish Psychopath than challenged the four-time world champion to a fight at Mania and The Big Dog accepted.

AJ Styles vs Randy Orton OFFICIAL

AJ Styles and Randy Orton exchanged some personal shots on SmackDown last week before their WrestleMania match became official.

Orton insulted Styles’ achievements in the independent scene as well as on TNA and NJPW.

The Phenomenal One then claimed his rival wouldn’t make it far in his career without the help of his father and WWE Hall of Famer Cowboy Bob Orton or all the stables he has worked with in the past, such as Evolution.

Shane McMahon vs The Miz (Falls Count Anywhere Match) OFFICIAL

The Miz was over the moon when Shane McMahon agreed to become his tag team partner and things got even better when they won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at the Royal Rumble.

But their reign didn’t last long as The Usos dethroned them at Elimination Chamber and retained the belts at Fastlane.

McMahon was enraged after their second consecutive loss which is why he attacked Miz from behind and made him choke out in front of his own father.

Shane-O-Mac then ordered The A-Lister to face him at WrestleMania.

Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley vs Finn Balor OFFICIAL

Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor have been embroiled in a heated rivalry over the Intercontinental Championship.

Balor dethroned Lashley at Fastlane when he beat the odds and defeated The Almighty as well as his manager Lio Rush in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

But the MMA hero regained the belt thanks to the help of Rush on RAW.

Now the two WWE megastars will settle their differences at WrestleMania.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax and Tamina vs Natalya and Beth Phoenix vs The IIconics OFFICIAL

Bayley and Sasha Banks made history at Elimination Chamber when they became the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The Boss ’n’ Hug Connection then retained the titles at Fastlane against Nia Jax and Tamina.

The Samoan Slaughterhouse brutalised the NXT icons after their loss and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, who was on commentary, suffered the same fate when she tried to help the champions.

Natalya came out to help Phoenix but was also beaten up.

The next night on RAW Banks, Bayley, Phoenix and Natalya got some revenge as they attacked Jax and Tamina.

It looked like the champions would put the titles on the line in a Triple Threat Match but then they lost to Billi Kay and Peyton Royce of The IIconics so they are now set for a Fatal 4-Way Match. 

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal OFFICIAL

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place again this year and Braun Strowman was the first confirmed participant

He will be joined by a number of WWE superstars as RAW will be represented by Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, Tyler Breeze, Jinder Mahal, No Way Jose, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Viktor and Konnor.

SmackDown stars Ali, Shelton Benjamin, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Jeff Hardy and last year’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Matt Hardy will also be in action.

They will be joined by NXT call-ups EC3, Otis and Tucker as well as Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost and Michael Che.

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal OFFICIAL

WWE will stage the Women’s Battle Royal for the second consecutive year.

The inaugural winner Naomi will be in action and will be joined by a number of RAW and SmackDown superstars.

SmackDown will also be represented by Asuka, Carmella, Lana, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and Zelina Vega.

RAW superstars Dana Brooke, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan and Mickie James will also be in action.

They will be joined by NXT call-up Nikki Cross.

US Champion Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio OFFICIAL

Rey Mysterio revealed on SmackDown that he will challenge Samoa Joe to a match at WrestleMania for the US Championship.

The two stars faced off twice in a Fatal 4-Way Match, which also included Andrade and R-Truth.

But this time it will be one-on-one at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy vs Tony Nese OFFICAL

Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy has been dominating 205 Live ever since winning the title in his hometwon of Melbourne, Australia at WWE Super Show-Down.

Murphy has held on to the title for a whopping 161 days and has beaten the likes of Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa, Mustafa Ali and many more.

At WrestleMania he will face another challenge, and that will be Tony Nese
