Ronda Rousey’s WWE return is now
Rousey hasn’t been seen in WWE TV since WrestleMania last April when she suffered her first ever loss in professional wrestling to Becky Lynch in a Winners Take All Triple Threat Match that also included Charlotte Flair.
The UFC Hall of Famer took time off after injuring her hand but she was expected to take a break regardless in order to start a family with husband Travis Browne.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet cast major doubt on her future as she didn’t rule out retirement claiming she might decide to focus all of her attention and energy on her baby.
However, professional wrestling journalist Brad Shepard said on the Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast that Rousey’s name keeps coming up in WWE’s office and the wrestling giants have teased a potential comeback with a video on YouTube analysing whether or not the company needs her.
As I recently reported Ronda Rousey’s return is inevitable
Therefore, the former RAW Women’s Champion’s return to the ring may be inevitable.
Shepard said: “As I recently reported Ronda Rousey’s return is inevitable.
“I’m told her name is coming up more frequently in the office.
“She does have a friendship with Nattie and unfinished business with Becky Lynch so that could be a way to re-introduce her.
“We’ll see if that happens, but that is certainly an intriguing option.”
Rousey has unfinished business with Lynch who took her RAW Women’s Championship and pinned her in controversial fashion at Mania as the MMA hero got her shoulders up before the referee’s three-count.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet also has a very close relationship with Natalya who will challenge The Man for the RAW women’s division’s top belt at SummerSlam on August 11 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Therefore, it would make sense for The Rowdy One to get involved in some way if WWE decide to book her in that storyline.
Rousey also released a video on her personal YouTube channel showing her missing the WWE which raised hopes of an imminent return.
But at this stage nothing is certain regarding her status and future in the company.
