Boly missed the games against West Ham and Fulham in April after giving a positive test when he returned from international duty with Ivory Coast, but struggled particularly in the 4-0 home defeat by Burnley on April 25, despite helping Wolves to a clean sheet against Sheffield United eight days earlier.
‘It’s something the Premier League and medical departments of the clubs will look at,’ said Nuno, prior to the West Brom game.
‘Players may show no symptoms but I think they have been affected a few weeks after the infection.

Nuno Espirito Santo revealed some players have felt the effects of the virus after isolation
‘We believe that after a player has been infected, the 10 days afterwards are not an issue. The issue is what comes after the virus.
‘From all the physical examinations we have done with them, what the players are saying is that there is a complete absence of energy.’
Boly was said to be resting at home and it is unclear whether he will play in the remainder of the campaign, especially as Wolves are under no threat of relegation and are out of contention for the European places.
