What time does Champions League final start today? TV schedule, live streams for Chelsea vs. Manchester City

Tens of millions in over 200 countries around the world will be tuning in to one of the biggest events on the soccer calendar: the UEFA Champions League final, which this year pits Manchester City against fellow English side Chelsea.

The championship match crowning the best team in Europe will be played at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto, Portugal. Manchester City are seeking their first-ever Champions League title in their first trip to the final, while Chelsea are chasing their second title after hoisting it in 2012.

Some of the biggest stars in the world will be on display in the final, including U.S. national team standout Christian Pulisic (Chelsea). English forward Phil Foden (Manchester City), French World Cup winner Ngolo Kante (Chelsea) and Belgian string-puller Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) are among the other players who will have a say in the final result.

The match will be played in front of a reduced capacity crowd of 16,500, including 6,000 supporters from each club who will get the chance to see history made in Portugal.

What time does the Champions League final start today?

The 2021 Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 29. 

What channel is the Chelsea vs. Man City on today?

The pregame coverage on CBS will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET and will be hosted by Kate Abdo and studio analysts Jamie Carragher, Roberto Martinez and Micah Richards. Peter Schmeichel, Guillem Balagué, Nico Cantor and Jenny Chiu will be on-site in Portugal. Peter Drury and Rob Green will call the match.

The postgame show will run until 5:30 p.m. ET on the main CBS network and continue on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) until 6:30 p.m. ET. Paramount+ will carry all 5 hours of coverage from 1:30 p.m. ET to 6:30 p.m. ET.

DJ and producer Marshmello will perform in the pregame show beginning at 2:40 p.m. ET.

Spanish-language coverage will also begin at 1:30 p.m. ET on Univision and TUDN.

Former UEFA Champions League winners Carles Puyol and Javier Zanetti will join soccer legends Hristo Stoichkov and Iván Zamorano for pre- and post-game coverage. The studio panel will include Alejandro Berry, Lindsay Casinelli, Tony Cherchi, Marc Crosas, José Hernández, Raúl Mendez, Adriana Monsalve and Hugo Salcedo. Luis Omar Tapia, Diego Balado and José Luis López Salido will call the action, while Dani Nohra, Paco Villa and Daniel Chanona will report on-site from the Estadio do Dragao.
