Swansea vs Man City predicted line-ups: Team news ahead of FA Cup fixture tonight

Swansea City are the latest team tasked with stopping Manchester City’s incredible run of form, when the two teams meet in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday night. The Swans have seen off Stevenage and Nottingham Forest to reach this stage, while Man City have knocked out Birmingham and Cheltenham.

The Swans have actually reached the quarter-finals twice in the past three seasons, so are no strangers to being this far in the competition, but even on the back of a 10-game unbeaten streak this will be a considerable step-up from recent challenges. They beat Norwich 2-0 last time out to move third in the league table, just a couple of points off the Canaries at the top – but with a game in hand.

Man City’s unbeaten run is even better: 14 straight wins and 21 unbeaten in a row all told, stretching back to late November.

Prediction

City could rotate all 11 players from the weekend and still have a side far too strong for Swansea to cope with. Unless the Championship side have a perfect night from back to front, their unbeaten run ends here. Swansea 0-3 Man City.
