Sky Sports sorry after Forest star Joe Worrall said "we were s***" live on air
Sky Sports were forced to apologise on Sunday after Nottingham Forest star Joe Worrall said "we were s***" live on air after their play-off final win over Huddersfield Town.
A first half own goal from Huddersfield defender Levi Colwill proved to be the difference as Forest secured a 1-0 win at Wembley Stadium. Following the win, Forest will now return to the Premier League after a 23-year absence and the occasion appeared to get to Worrall after the match.
During an interview with Sky Sports at full-time, Worrall's language forced the reporter speaking to him to apologise to the viewers at home.
"Like I keep saying we've been really good, not just this season," admitted Worrall. "I'm not saying we've been good in the past seasons because we haven't. We've been s***e but it's been a long time coming at this club."
The reporter quickly apologised as they butted in with: "Joe it's understandable with your emotions but we must apologise for your language there." Worrall himself was able to say "sorry" as he held back the tears during an emotional interview.
Sunday's win confirmed Forest's long-awaited return to the Premier League after more than two decades away, which also included a three-year spell in League One.

Worrall went on to add: "I keep using the expression of 'like a whipped dog'. If you treat any dog with kindness then they become a nice dog. If you mistreat one then they are aggressive, we were, we've been a mistreated team."
Steve Cooper's side survived two penalty scares during the second half as VAR overlooked two incidents of Huddersfield players going down inside the penalty area.
It was not just Worrall revelling in Forest's win after the match, though, with fellow defender Steve Cook promising that the players would emulate Jack Grealish with their celebrations.
Speaking from the Forest changing room whilst covered in champagne, Cook admitted: "Now, we are going to go full Jack Grealish."
Manchester City winger Grealish celebrated in style last weekend after winning the first league title of his career, partying in Manchester for two days before jetting off to Ibiza to continue his celebrations.
