Ryan Reynolds’ perfect response to United fan’s plea to replace Glazers as owner
Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds has delivered a brilliant response to a Manchester United fan who asked him to purchase the Red Devils.
Replying to a tweet from Reynolds, one cheeky United fan popped the question: "please buy Man Utd." However, the Deadpool actor was equal with a cheeky response of his own: "I’m already seeing someone."
Reynolds and fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney purchased the Non-League Welsh club in November 2020 after receiving the backing of the Wrexham Supporters Trust. And the actor has been spotted at the Racecourse Ground on numerous occasions, and he joked he 'wasn't okay' after a late winner against Eastleigh on Saturday.
United fans have continued to protest against the Glazer's ownership – which reached a boiling point after the announcement of the proposed European Super League. The announcement sparked widespread protests, and some fans even stormed the pitch at Old Trafford ahead of their clash with Liverpool.
Red Devils legend Paul Parker recently told the Daily Mail: "United are a mishmash. I can’t see that changing. You’d have to change the owners and you can’t change the owners, can you?"

Reynolds keenly keeps up with Wrexham's results, but he claimed that their 6-5 dramatic comeback against Dover took 'nine years' off his life.
He tweeted: “I just lost 9 years off my life. And I’m okay with that. Apologies to my family. Also, bury me in Wales.”
