Roy Keane says Jurgen Klopp has "obviously lost patience" with Liverpool stars

Jurgen Klopp has run out of patience with certain members of Liverpool's first-team playing squad as their slip down the table continues – according to Roy Keane.

The Champions League and Premier League winning manager has watched his side lose five of their last six domestic outings, and five in a row at Anfield before this weekend.

Following defeat at home to Chelsea, Klopp named sevelral changes for the visit of Fulham, with Diogo Jota, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Rhys Williams, Neco Williams and Nathaniel Phillips all coming into the side.

Speaking on Sky Sports before the game, Keane said of Klopp’s starting XI: “He’s obviously, I think, lost patience with some of the players.

“I think obviously we keep analysing how it is defensively, but going forward, the lack of goals, particularly at home, even during the week we said there’s ways to lose a game of football.

“I don’t think they’re a happy group. I look at players who were taken off, and I obviously don’t expect a player to be happy to be taken off, but shaking their head, sitting in the stand, not great body language.

“We saw it again with Mohamed Salah during the week, we saw it with Sadio Mane down at Palace, with James Milner at West Ham.

“I don’t think they’re a happy group and I think to make that many changes, OK there are a couple of changes and there are games coming up, but I think he’s thought, ‘enough is enough’.”

Graeme Souness then added: “I think certainly one or two, maybe three things. That he’s certainly had words with some of them, he’s not happy with some of them.

“I mentioned intensity before, I think that’s been missing, because there’s no doubting they’re still talented boys.
