Roy Keane has emerged as the shock early favourite to succeed Steve Bruce as the next manager of West Bromwich Albion.
The Baggies will be hoping to secure the services of a new head coach sooner rather than later as they look to bounce back from their abysmal start to the season.
Keane, who now works primarily as a pundit, could soon be swapping the TV screen for the training ground if a move to make him manager materialises.

It will come as a shock to many fans that, according to oddschecker, Keane is the manager topping the odds to become the next man in charge.
The 51-year-old has not managed a club for over ten years – following his dismissal from Ipswich Town in 2011.
Since then, Keane has plied his trade as an assistant manager for the Republic of Ireland, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest – as well as working as a pundit.
Fans of West Brom will be hoping that the straight-talking Keane will be able to come in and completely change their side’s form.
With just one win in 13 league games, the former Sunderland manager may have to deliver some hard-hitting home truths to the West Brom side – something he has never shied away from doing on TV.

Sean Dyche is also among the front-runners being considered for the job.
However, it is unknown whether the former Burnley manager will take a job in the Championship or hold out for a vacancy in the Premier League.
Chris Wilder and Carlos Corberan are also available for the job after they were both sacked earlier on in the season.
West Brom go to Reading next, where they will be hoping to pick up three points on their travels.
