Ramsdale’s dad steals the show in Arsenal All or Nothing with expletive outburst

Aaron Ramsdale’s dad stole the show with a brilliant expletive tirade on the first batch of Arsenal: All or Nothing episodes.

The goalkeeper – who was one of the standout performers for the Gunners last season – had his parents feature in the new fly-on-the-wall series that aired this week on Amazon.

The first episode heavily features the process of Ramsdale joining the side from Sheffield United. The pair travalled to watch their son in action at the Emirates Stadium – and his father had viewers in fits of laughter with his outbursts.

After glancing out onto the pitch and seeing his son on goal doing an audacious piece of skill, dribbling past an oncoming attacker, he firmly stood up out of his chair and walked off saying “F***ing hell, it’s doing me heart in!”

In response to the clip, many flocked online to big up their newfound star. One said: “First episode is one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched in my life bro. Ramsdale’s dad is the best.” Another said: “Worth it just for Aaron Ramsdale's potty mouthed dad. They should have a camera on him and his spectacular head gear every match day this season.”

A third wrote: “Just finished the first episode and if the rest of the series doesn't just follow Ramsdale's dad around, I don't think I'm interested.”

The episode also took an emotional turn when Ramsdale, who had just signed from Sheffield for £30million, said of his parents’ help: “Other than Covid, I think my mum and dad have missed two games probably, in three or four years. So to know I have them in the stands, it's great for me."

"I give a wave to my mum each game, and it's just nice you know, it's making them proud. It's just great to have their backing because I know if I've done well they'll tell me.

"If I've done badly my dad will definitely tell me. "There's no way I'd be sat here right now without them two."
