Neymar linked with Man Utd move as Pochettino identifies Pogba replacement
Manchester United could be about to enter a period of total upheaval at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now left the club after his sacking was confirmed following United's embarrassing 4-1 defeat away to relegation-tipped Watford on Saturday.
The club have now been linked with a number of names who could take the helm at Old Trafford, although any permanent appointment may have to wait until the end of the season.
Any new manager coming in will of course have their own ideas over what sort of players they may want and it could mean the club's first XI may also soon see huge changes.
While United could enter the January transfer window looking to sign a number of players, one long-term target has been told they'd be better off moving to bitter rivals Manchester City.
Daily Star Sport has taken a look at the latest Manchester United transfer news below.
United 'to move for Neymar'
Manchester United could be set to make an audacious attempt to sign Brazillian superstar Neymar, it has been reported.
Catalan publication El Nacional claims United are looking to end recent negative publicity surrounding the club by trying to sign the PSG player.
In 2018, the Brazilian dropped on his YouTube channel that "all the big players have to play in the Premier League", giving United hope they could secure the deal after seeing their coffers boosted by a new sponsorship agreement with Teamviewer worth £47m each year.

Pogba replacement 'identified'
Mauricio Pochettino could have the perfect replacement for Paul Pogba if he is appointed as the next United manager, the Daily Express reports.
Donny van de Beek could go from being an outcast to becoming a crucial part of United's team, as Pochettino has heaped praise on the Dutchman in the past.
Pochettino was Spurs boss as they completed a stunning comeback to beat Ajax in the Champions League semi-final, with van de Beek scoring earlier in the two-legged tie, and ahead of their match-up Pochettino told El Pais: "Van de Beek. Nobody talks much about him.
"But he has a dynamic in the game, he gets behind Tadic, he arrives, he works, he scores goals.
"Logically, I love De Jong and De Ligt. But the example of the operation of this Ajax is van de Beek. I like very much."
Rice told to snub United
Declan Rice has been told to snub Manchester United and join Manchester City by former United player Kleberson.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Kleberson believes the West Ham and England star would be better served moving to the blue half of Manchester when he eventually leaves the Hammers.
The former United player said: "It would be good to see Declan Rice play for Manchester City as they base their play around keeping the ball for long periods of time, which is something that Declan Rice likes to do."
