Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta shushed Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after a side-line spat during a pre-season friendly game.
The Gunners were playing their bitter rivals at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the final match of the Mind Series for mental health awareness where tensions boiled over.
Arteta was close to the touchline when Hojbjerg recklessly slid in to prevent the ball from going out of play, almost catching the Spaniard with heavy contact in the process.
The situation escalated as Hojbjerg got up and jogged past Arteta, before telling the Arsenal boss to go back into his technical area which was not received well.
The pair exchanged some words before Arteta put a finger to his lips to make a shushing gesture.
Hojbjerg walked back towards the Arsenal man and appeared to offer a hand-shake which Arteta rejected, berating the Danish international as he stepped back into his designated area.
Granit Xhaka kept the peace by separating the two but Spurs went on to have the last laugh with a 79th minute Son Heung-Min winner.
Arsenal suffered their third loss of pre-season, leaving them without a win in four games prior to their opening Premier League match at Brentford on August 13.

The Gunners have been lacklustre in front of goal in the majority of those matches while creating their own problems at the back, leading fans to urge Arteta and technical director Edu to make signings.
Leicester City’s James Maddison and Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard continue to be linked with a move to the Emirates while both north London sides are reportedly interested in Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez.
