Man Utd fans spot Bruno Fernandes’ message to team-mates after Rashford goal

Manchester United superstar Bruno Fernandes was influential in his side's 4-0 win over Real Sociedad on Thursday, and fans will love the way he reacted to Marcus Rashford's goal.

United coasted past Sociedad at the Allianz Stadium in a comfortable performance in Italy.

Fernandes fired in a double before Rashford grabbed a third, with Daniel James finishing the rout in the closing minutes.

United have often been called out for over-relying on Fernandes, with the Portuguese star rarely out of the team at any point.

But the playmaker made a point to disprove that theory after Rashford's goal as he urged his team-mates to go and celebrate with the rest of the substitutes.

After the English forward had slotted home, he ran to the corner flag and was embraced by Fernandes, Alex Telles, Fred and Mason Greenwood.

But Fernandes pointed towards the touchline before ushering his team-mates over and encouraging them to celebrate with Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Victor Lindelof.

The superstar playmaker seems to be determined to keep team morale high after another impressive win, something that didn't go unnoticed by Owen Hargreaves.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game, the former midfielder explained he believes Fernandes is proving he is a leader on the pitch.

Hargreaves said: "Harry Maguire is the captain and has been so important, especially at the back.

"Bruno Fernandes is a leader and his impact has been off the charts.
