Man Utd fans react to first footage of Amad Diallo in training
Man Utd: Diallo posts Atalanta tribute after sealing move
Manchester United fans are looking forward to seeing new signing Amad Diallo in action after a clip emerged of the teenager in training. Diallo joined the club earlier this month in a €21m (£18.7m) move from Serie A side Atalanta.
The forward took part in United’s most recent training session and fans are excited after he scored an impressive goal as part of a training drill.
Diallo played a one-two before slotting a curled effort past Dean Henderson and into the back of the net.
Reacting to the clip on social media, one fan said: “I’m fully convinced we have a potential world class player in Diallo. I cannot wait to see him playing with the first team, hopefully sooner rather than later.”
“His CL cameo is incredibly promising. You dont see players this tidy at his age, forwards even less so“, wrote a second.

“That first touch with his weak foot was pure class”, added a third.
Speaking to United’s official website after Diallo completed his move, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “As a club, we have followed Amad for a number of years and having watched him myself, I believe he is one of the most exciting young prospects in the game.
“Manchester United has such a proud history of developing young players and everything is in place to enable Amad to reach his potential here.
“It will take time for him to adapt but his speed, vision and fantastic dribbling ability will stand him in good stead to make the transition.

“He is a player with all of the raw attributes that are needed to be an important player for Manchester United in the years to come.”
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of United’s game against Sheffield United, Solskjaer revealed that Diallo will be part of the first team squad in the near future.
“Amad is different, he’s only come in and he’s training in a different scenario,” Solskjaer said. “It won’t be long until I can bring him into the squad.”
Speaking to Stadium Astro, Giggs said: “We are in unknown territory. Where you don’t have a lot of time. A lot of games squeezed into a short space of time.
“So, I think Ole would take the safe option and keep as many quality players in the club as he can.
“Yes, it would be frustrating. I know that Dan is frustrated. Just like any other player who isn’t getting regular football.
“But when you are at a big club like Man United when you get the chance take it.”
