Chelsea striker Kai Havertz appeared to mock Jordan Pickford by doing a “clown” gesture.
The German forward carried on his good form with a clinical penalty against the Everton shot-stopper. Havertz did a little shuffle, stuttered, sent Pickford the wrong way with his eyes, before slamming the spot-kick into the top corner.
It was his third goal in three matches and his seventh Premier League strike this season. And he certainly marked the occasion with a very cheeky celebration.

As he wheeled away in celebration, he stuck both his hands behind his ears and stuck his tongue out at the England No.1 goalkeeper. There was little to no reaction from Pickford, who may have been picking the ball out of the back of the net at the time.
And his own fan base certainly enjoyed his celebration. "Man there’s just something about Havertz. Pickford you clown,” one fan wrote on social media.

“Havertz converts again and then clowns punk Pickford. Bwaaa ha ha ha ha. Love Havertz’s s***housery,” another added, before one other enthusiastic Chelsea fan wrote, “take that Pickford, you clown. Havertz sooo cold man.”
However, it was Pickford who ended up having the last laugh as Sean Dyche’s side pegged the Blues back in the dying stages. Joao Felix scored his first Chelsea goal at Stamford Bridge to give the West Londoners a deserved lead in the early stages of the second-half, before Abdoulaye Doucoure flicked on an equaliser from a set piece.
Havertz then thought he won the game from the penalty spot, until Everton youngster Ellis Simms breezed past Kalidou Koulibaly, before squeezing an 89th minute equaliser under Kepa Arrizabalaga.
It is a result which breathes more life into Everton’s fight against relegation and, perhaps, strikes a killer blow into Chelsea’s hopes of finishing in the top four.
