Jamie Carragher mocks Nadine Dorries image as Boris Johnson finally quits as PM
Jamie Carragher joined the rest of social media in having a joke at Nadine Dorries' expense as Boris Johnson clung onto his premiership on Wednesday night.
Dorries has been one of BoJo's biggest cheerleaders throughout his time as prime minister; something that has been roundly mocked online. She backed the leader of the Conservative party right up until the end, which came on Thursday morning when he resigned as leader.
Her impassioned defence of the mop-haired halfwit during an interview with the BBC went viral on Twitter earlier this year after she pulled a face that would have won the world gurning championships.

As Johnson fought to hold onto office on Wednesday night, Carragher tweeted the iconic meme along with the legendary line from Kevin Keegan's rant against Manchester United in 1996.
"They’ve still got to go to the 1922 committee & get something, and honestly, I will love it if we beat them," Carragher joked last night when it appeared Johnson would cling on until next week.

The Liverpool legend's 1.9million followers loved the tweet, with one saying: "Stick to politics. You’re wasted on footie!" Someone else said: "That's pretty funny for you Carra!"
A third person added: "Outstanding." While a fourth user chimed in with: "@Carra23 might just be a better political commentator than you @GNev2."
Johnson had planned to try and ride it out in No.10 until the backbench 1922 Committee were due to meet on Monday to elect a new executive body and change the rules allowing a no-confidence vote.
But as the resignations mounted up overnight, BoJo finally did the honourable thing and tendered his resignation in front of the press outside Downing Street on Thursday lunchtime.
"The reason I have fought so hard in the last few days to continue to deliver that mandate in person, was not just because I wanted to do so, because I felt it was my job, my duty, my obligation to you to do what we promised in 2019," he said.
"I regret not to have been successful in those arguments. In politics, no one is remotely indispensable," he said adding: "I want you to know how sad I am to be giving up the best job in the world, but them's the breaks."
