Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were in total disagreement over Manchester United 's performance in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool.
The Red Devils, who topped the table going into the clash, had opportunities to end their rivals' Anfield run.
But United failed to properly go for it on Merseyside, despite Liverpool being struck by a wealth of injuries.
Neville was asked whether it was a mistake from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his team.
But the Old Trafford hero didn't believe that was the case due to the mentality of the current United team.
"I thought about long and hard and I've seen a lot of people analyse the game," he told presenter Dave Jones.

"I think it would be hindsight punditry. When you look before the game, I thought Liverpool would come out like animals. There was a danger they could come out and make a statement.
"Jamie and Graeme [Souness] all expecting a ferocious performance after nine days off. Loads of preparation.
And there was a little bit of, not worry, but excitement from United fans, like could this be a point where Liverpool reassert themselves?
And the best analogy I can give is that United prepared for the toughest hole of the course, the one who take a par on all day.
They've played it and after they've played it, they've looked back and thought 'if I'd just gone for that second shot and been a bit bolder for the green, I might have got a birdie'.
"But that's only after the hole has finished.
"I genuinely believe this team is not ready, it's not right yet. From seven or eight weeks ago when the manager was on the brink.
"To seven weeks later, thinking 'right we're title winners, we're coming to Anfield, they're weaker, let's go for it.'
"I don't think they're ready. The champions team are able to do that. But this team is not a champion team. No pundit or analyst thinks United will win the league this season."
However, Carragher didn't share his colleague's view on the matter, insisting United had a perfect opportunity to pounce.
"I don't agree with any of that," he replied.
"Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world. You think about the mentality of Manchester United and the mentality of this team, saying they're not a champion team.
"You don't have to be a champion team to smell something in a game!"
