Is West Brom vs Manchester United on TV today? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch Premier League fixture

West Bromwich Albion face another tough game as they look to give themselves a fighting chance of avoiding relegation from the Premier League, as they host Manchester United on Sunday.

The Baggies haven’t closed the gap at all since Sam Allardyce’s appointment and are more in danger of sinking further, rather than climbing out of the bottom three. Two recent defeats, to bottom club Sheffield United and then away to Tottenham, leave them 13 points from safety already.

At the other end of the table, Manchester United are trying to stay in touch in the title race and are down into third after Leicester’s win on Saturday – but a midweek FA Cup extra time win over West Ham should have them feeling rather more positive, following on from last week’s late disappointment in the 3-3 draw with Everton.

United have won one of their last four and two in six in the league, so a little more consistency and reliability in defence is still needed before they can be considered a genuine threat to Manchester City.

What is the team news?

West Brom have almost a full squad to choose from, though Karlan Grant did pick up a knock last week so could be absent.

United are without Paul Pogba and long-term absentee Phil Jones, while Eric Bailly is a doubt. There have been calls for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to start Dean Henderson in goal here after David De Gea’s recent errors.

Predicted line-ups

WBA – Johnstone; Furlong, Ajayi, Bartley, Gibbs; Snodgrass, Yokuslu, Maitland-Niles, Gallagher, Pereira; Diagne

MUN – De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, McTominay; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Cavani

Odds

West Brom – 10/1

Draw – 5/1

Man United – 33/100

Prediction

West Brom’s defensive work hasn’t been impressive of late and it’s unlikely that they’ll keep out United’s first-choice attack. Baggies 1-3 United.
