Arsenal vs Leeds predicted line-ups: Team news ahead of Premier League fixture today

Arsenal host Leeds in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Gunners are hoping to recover from another slump in form, with back-to-back defeats against Wolves and Aston Villa leaving them languishing in the bottom half of the table. Mikel Arteta will also have to make do without two of his key players in Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey, with the latter “devastated” after suffering a hamstring injury.

Arsenal will hope to derive some extra motivation from the two side’s last meeting, though, when Nicolas Pepe’s sending off looked to have handed Leeds victory. However, despite being on the back foot throughout, Arsenal held on valiantly to leave Elland Road with a 0-0 draw.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side come into the fixture in good form, though, after cruising past Crystal Palace. Three wins in their last four games has seen the club rise into the top half of the table, while Patrick Bamford has continued to score at a prolific rate.

Prediction

Leeds have all the tools to trouble an Arsenal side that is once again out of sorts. Bielsa’s side were utterly dominant against Palace last time out and should have the nous to leave the Emirates with a hard-fought point. Arsenal 1-1 Leeds
