Is Burnley vs Newcastle United on TV today? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch Premier League fixture

Burnley host Newcastle United in the Premier League this afternoon with Steve Bruce’s side desperate for three points to ease their relegation fears.

Newcastle are winless in their last seven in the Premier League but claimed a point against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend thanks to Joe Willock’s late equaliser.

Burnley also have work to do if they are to secure their Premier League status for another season and come into this one just four points above Newcastle in the table.

Sean Dyche’s side have won just one of their last seven matches in the Premier League and threw away a two-goal lead in the 3-2 defeat to Southampton last Sunday.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of this afternoon’s match.

What time is it on?

The match kicks off at 12:00 pm GMT on Sunday 11 April.

How can I watch?

The match will air live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League. If you’re not a Sky customer you can grab a NOWTV Day Pass here to watch without a subscription.

What is the team news?

Eric Pieters is fit for the hosts after recovering from an injury picked up in Burnley’s 3-2 defeat to Southampton last weekend, while fellow defenders Phil Bardsley and Charlie Taylor are available for selection. Burnley will be without striker Ashley Barnes, winger Robbie Brady and defender Kevin Long.

Bruce has confirmed that Jamaal Lascelles is set to miss the next few weeks with a foot injury but Newcastle could be handed a major boost with Callum Wilson in contention to start following a lengthy spell out on the side-lines with a hamstring tear. Andy Carroll, Federico Fernandez and Ciaran Clark are all in line to return to the team but Ryan Fraser, Fabian Schar and Isaac Hayden remain out.
