Erling Haaland's super-agent Mino Raiola would earn enough from a Manchester City mega transfer to buy his own private Caribbean island.
City could splash a staggering total outlay of £246 million to sign the Norwegian superstar from Borussia Dortmund. Boss Pep Guardiola has made a striker signing a number one priority and Haaland is said to be top of the most wanted list.
According to Di Marzio, City are ready to match Haaland's release clause of €75m (£63m). A stunning salary package will also be worth €30m (£25m) a year in a five-year contract which adds up to £125m in wages alone.
And perhaps most remarkable is the fraction that will be afforded to Haaland's notorious Italian agent Raiola, who will hugely profit if he successfully orchestrates a transfer. It is claimed Raiola will land €70m (£58m) in total agent fees should the youngster swap the Bundesliga for the Premier League.
Controversial agent Raiola already has an elite stable of clients including the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba – but Haaland will prove his most lucrative asset yet. The £58m that Raiola could rake in for the single transfer is enough to afford a luxury personal island in the Caribbean.
For example, the Cave Cay, a 220 acre private island in the Bahamas would set Raiola back just over £45m, less than what is up for grabs in the Haaland deal. Raiola's riches continue to rise and his wealth could soon see him able to afford some of the most exclusive stretches of land in the world.
Haaland, 21, could arrive at the Etihad after the Citizens missed out on a deal for England skipper Harry Kane last summer. The Premier League champions won't be the only one of Europe's elite chasing goal-machine Haaland, but have the financial power and allure to make the forward their record signing.
