Footy ref blows for full time early and has brilliant reaction after realising
An Italian referee was left with egg on his face after be blew the full-time whistle too soon.
Giuseppe Mucera brought the action to a close in the Serie C clash between Vicenza and Arzignano Valchiampo on Sunday (March 26) before the allotted stoppage time had ended. It didn't take him long to realise his error.
The official put his head in his hands before hosts Vicenza's players surrounded him to protest as they were pushing for an equaliser against the 10 men of Arzignano, who were celebrating their victory – or so they thought.

After what he'd done had sunk in, Mucera decided to restart the game and see out the final 60 seconds, appearing to apologise to the players before blowing his whistle again.
Fortunately for him, the 3-2 scoreline didn't change come the very final whistle. The stunning scenes were reminiscent of those seen at last year's Africa Cup of Nations when Janny Sikazwe blew up early not once, but twice.
The Zambian was forced to restart the match between Tunisia and Mali after calling time in the 85th minute, but then ended the match again before the 90-minute mark.

He later claimed he was hallucinating having been taken to hospital for heatstroke. "I have seen people going for duties outside the country and come back in a casket," he said.
"I was very close to coming back like that. I was lucky I didn't go into a coma. It would have been a very different story.
"The doctors told me my body was not cooling down. It would have been just a little time before [I would have gone] into a coma, and that would have been the end. I think God told me to end the match. He saved me."
