Everton will look to kick-start their FA Cup journey with a comfortable win over Championship strugglers Rotherham in the third round at lunchtime.

Carlo Ancelotti is expected to ring the changes for the clash at Goodison Park, which gets underway at 12pm, and will want to avoid a potential giant killing as the biggest teams in the country finally enter the competition.

Elsewhere, Reading will travel to Luton, Norwich host Coventry and Nottingham Forest take on Cardiff.

Non-league Boreham Wood are aiming to spring a shock against Millwall, with minnows Chorley also hoping to make their dreams come true against a coronavirus-ridden Derby.

Sportmail‘s DANIEL DAVIS will provide live coverage including the score, lineups and build-up – with full text commentary of Everton vs Rotherham.

Host commentator

3min: Rotherham have certainly started brightly.

The visitors are throwing themselves into blocks and challenges, and have managed to keep a pretty high line so far.

2min: Just a quick reminder – Derby’s clash Chorley, which promises to be a brilliant one – will kick off in just over ten minutes.

For now though, all eyes are on the rest of the fixtures.

1min: We’re off and underway around the grounds!

We’re now just over five minutes away from getting the action started in this lunchtime’s first third round ties!

It may be a testing time of year, but it’s great to see managers up and down the country taking this brilliant competition seriously.

Daniel Farke certainly has at Carrow Road, even after making several changes. Here is how the two teams look…

It’s bitterly cold in Lancashire today. Stewards have been around the pitch, clearing the touchlines of snow and frost.

One player to watch out for is Derby’s Bobby Duncan. The former Liverpool starlet starts.

Millwall have opted for a five-man defence at non-league Boreham Wood this afternoon.

Kenneth Zohore and Troy Parrott, on loan from Tottenham, both start.

As for the hosts, Junior Morais will make his debut and David Stephens has returned to the starting XI.

BOREHAM WOOD XI: Ashmore, Stephens, Fyfield, Ilesanmi, Smith, Mafuta, Murtagh, Thomas, Tshimanga, Rhead, Morias

Substitutes: Woodwards, Mingoia, Whitely, Huddart, Coulthirst, McDonnell

MILLWALL XI: Fielding, Hutchinson, Pearce, Cooper, McNamara, Leonard, Woods, Malone, Burey, Zohore, Parrott

It’s going to be an intriguing encounter down at Victory Park!

Chorley have put together a truly memorable cup run to reach the third round, and were drawn alongside the Wayne Rooney-led Derby.

But the Championship club have been hit with a coronavirus outbreak – meaning they will field Under-23 and Under-18 players instead.

That game gets underway at 12:15pm.

It’s a very, very strong team for Everton this afternoon.

James Rodriguez and Alex Iwobi both start from the off, and it’s also a full strength back four. Cenk Tosun leads the line.

The hosts have plenty of options to change the game on the bench, too – with Bernard and Gylfi Sigurdsson among them.

Starting XI: Blackman, Harding, MacDonald, Ihiekwe, Wood, Olosunde, Wiles, Barlaser, Lindsay, Crooks, Smith

Substitutes: Johansson, Vickers, Jones, Tilt, Clarke, Miller, Jozefzoon, Vassell, Hirst
