Erling Haaland will cost a huge £132million in this summer’s transfer window, according to reports. Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all keen on the Borussia Dortmund star. But where he ends up remains to be seen.

Haaland only joined Dortmund in January 2020, moving to the Westfalenstadion from Red Bull Salzburg.

And he’s proven to be excellent value for money in the short time since, scoring 43 goals from 45 games so far.

Haaland is viewed as the future of European football and, now, Spanish website OKDiario claim he will cost a massive £132m.

That would make him one of the world’s costliest players, only behind the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.

Real Madrid reportedly found this out, testing the waters with an enquiry.

With Karim Benzema waning, and the futures of Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz uncertain, they’re eyeing a blockbuster move this summer.

And OkDiario director Eduardo Inda said: “Real Madrid has tested what would be the price of the Norwegian player, who wants to come yes or yes.

“Borussia has told him that his price is 150 million euros.

“Real Madrid has responded to Dortmund is that it is a savagery. The Germans have said they can put up with the footballer at the club until the situation returns to normal.”

United themselves think Haaland would be the perfect replacement for Anthony Martial, who has scored just seven goals this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to offload the forward at the end of the campaign, despite him being a big Joel Glazer favourite.

And Solskjaer recently talked up Haaland, saying: “It is clear that Erling is going to have a fantastic career.

“I follow Erling. I have always said that. Was it 18 months we had together or something like that?

“Almost two years, perhaps. A fantastic time. He will surely have a super career both for Norway and his club. He is doing incredibly well for Dortmund.

“We will see where he ends up. As a Norwegian and someone who has worked with him, it is of course great that he is doing so well.”

Chelsea are also admirers of Haaland.

Thomas Tuchel hasn’t taken to Tammy Abraham since replacing Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge, while Olivier Giroud’s future is up in the air.

Timo Werner has struggled to adjust to life in England, with Tuchel now readying a bid to attract more world-class talent to west London.

Meanwhile, Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola believes there are 10 clubs who can afford to land Haaland.

“It is obvious that everybody is looking at Erling as one of those potential new future stars because it’s so difficult to do what he does at his age at his level,” he said.

“He will be one of the future stars of the next decade because we see that stars such as Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo and Messi are coming to an age where everyone asks themselves: ‘How long can we still enjoy them?’ So everyone is looking for the new generation.

“Only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy [Haaland] and give the platform you would like after you’ve been in Dortmund… and four of those clubs are in [England].

“I don’t think there’s a sports director or trainer in the world who would say ‘not interested’.

“It’s like saying: ‘Is there a Formula 1 team who would not be interested in having Lewis Hamilton?'”
