Besiktas are in talks to sign Dele Alli with Everton ready to cut their losses just seven months after signing the playmaker from Tottenham, Express Sport understands. The Turkish giants expect Alli to arrive in Istanbul on Friday to undergo a medical although the 26-year-old is yet to commit to the move.
Both loan and permanent transfers have been discussed between the two clubs and Everton are happy to leave the decision in the hands of Alli himself.
The structure of Everton’s January deal with Spurs could complicate proceedings though with the Toffees due to pay Tottenham £10m once Alli has made 20 appearances for the club. The 37-times England international is currently on 13.
Alli came off the bench in both of Everton’s opening two Premier League defeats to Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Everton boss Frank Lampard said of Alli earlier this month: “The first thing Dele needs to do is find a consistency in his training and that is something I have spoken about. I’m a big believer in training at a level every day that is there to improve you, or your luck or whatever way you want to look at it.
“For me, full pelt in training is non-negotiable, and I think Dele needs, needed, to understand that is important for me and for him, and in pre-season I’ve seen that, but I think he still has to remain patient to a degree in terms of the squad we have.
“But he still has to tackle every game the same way he tackled the second half of Crystal Palace [in May] where he came on and impacted. If he impacts, he has a talent which is different to other players in the squad, and can very, very helpful to us.”

Everton are keen to raise funds to continue improving Lampard’s squad following a difficult start to the season. Alli could be one departure, although the Toffees have little interest in selling forward Anthony Gordon before the end of the transfer window.
Wide-ranging reports claim that Chelsea have approached Everton about signing the England U21 international. Gordon has impressed under Lampard and is loved by the Goodison Park faithful.
Everton are reportedly interested in a return for former midfielder and current Paris Saint Germain star Idrissa Gana Gueye. The 32-year-old made 108 appearances for the Toffees before moving to France three years ago.
