Conte hints he could walk away from Tottenham after fans boo Liverpool loss
Antonio Conte could be on his way out of Tottenham soon, that is at least judging by his disgruntled comments following Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Boos rang out around the Tottenham Hotspur stadium with the home side 2-0 down at the break, and Conte took a thinly-veiled swipe at supporters by reminding them where they'd come from during his post-match press conference.
"We have to show in every moment great respect for our fans," said Conte. "They are our fans. They pay for the tickets. At the same time, if you ask me if I was a bit disappointed, yes."

The Italian added: "I continue to repeat the same thing I've said since the start of the season: We've just started a process and after one year we've made a lot of improvement.
"We finished the Champions League group in first place. Last season we were in the Europa Conference League and struggled in the group. So we need to be calm and assess the situation. Look at where the situation was a year ago."
The former Chelsea boss then suggested he might leave at the end of the season, insisting he'll "see what happens" until then.

Mo Salah's first-half double set a bleak tone, but Tottenham came flying out of the blocks after the restart and pulled one back through Harry Kane, but failed to repeat their recent heroics by grabbing another last-gasp goal, slumping instead to their third defeat in their last four Premier League games.
