Chelsea fans demand ‘Potter out’ as ‘cheat code’ Ward-Prowse scores free-kick
Chelsea fans called for Graham Potter's head after "cheat code" James Ward-Prowse scored yet another free-kick for Southampton.
Pressure has begun mounting on Potter, who was appointed Blues boss back in September, in recent weeks after a string of underwhelming performances and results. He was in need of a victory against the Saints, who started the day bottom of the table.
Ward-Prowse did him no favours, then, when he whipped in his 17th Premier League free-kick to move one behind record-holder David Beckham just before half-time. And that was the final straw for many frustrated Chelsea fans.

One tweeted: "Please when are we sending #PotterOut. Potter get out of my club now." A second echoed: "Get this man out my club. POTTER OUT!"
"Potter out now, today," demanded one, while another agreed: "Definitely has to go. Unbelievable."
One Blues fan slammed: "Am completely ashamed that I rooted for Potter at the beginning. Man clearly doesn’t have the balls to clash a top level club. His stats speak for itself. Get Potter out of my club enough is enough."

Other fans were left in awe of set-piece specialist Ward-Prowse. One declared: "This man and free-kicks is just a cheat code."
"James Ward-Prowse is a cheat code when it comes to free kicks," said a second, while a third wrote: "Ward-Prowse free kicks are a cheat code uno."
Match of the Day host Gary Lineker both hailed the Saints captain and expressed concern for Potter. He posted: "Yet another goal from a freekick for @JamesWardProws8 gives Saints the lead at Stamford Bridge. The Potter seat gets hotter."
