Busquets’ embarrassing play-acting spotted with ‘most miraculous recovery ever’
Sergio Busquets was up to his old tricks in Barcelona's 1-0 Champions League win away at Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night.
Barca recorded their first victory since beating Kiev by the same scoreline at the Nou Camp last month, with Ansu Fati's goal 20 minutes from time moving them up into second place in Group E.
The Catalans were forced to hang on to that one-goal lead out in Ukraine, and with just over a minute of normal time remaining Busquets produced an embarrassing attempt to run down the clock.
After going in for a challenge with Dynamo's Oleksandr Karavayev on the edge of the box, the Spain international could be seen rolling around on the floor holding his leg in apparent pain.
However, when no foul was awarded and the home side continued their attack, Busquets quickly made a miraculous recovery, leaping to his feet and racing back to help his team defend.
Fans were not best pleased with his antics, taking to Twitter to brand him "embarrassing".
One wrote: "This has got to be sorted in football it’s embarrassing".

Luis Suarez still speaks with Jordan Henderson and was massive for "mentality"
Another said: "And there it is, one snap shot of why many people can’t stand football. Embarrassing".
A third put: "This sort of play acting needs to stop. It’s ruining the game".
While one simply concluded: "He's always done it."
Busquets has often resorted to play-acting throughout his lengthy spell at Barca, infamously getting Thiago Motta sent off in their 2010 Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan.
When Motta attempted to tackle him while on a yellow card, the midfielder threw himself to the ground and rolled around in the same exaggerated way he did against Dynamo.
He then provided one of the most iconic Champions League images of all time by peeping through his hands to look back towards the Barca bench as Motta was brandished a red card.

Of course, his sly tricks were unable to inspire Barca to victory that night, with Jose Mourinho's 10-man Inter side instead holding firm to reach the final.
Next up for Busquets and Barca after their narrow victory away at Dynamo is a trip to Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday afternoon.
