Arsenal could again be interested in signing Barcelona goalkeeper Neto, according to reports. Neto is expected to start for Barca in the final game of the season against Eibar on Saturday after No 1 Marc-Andre ter Stegen suffered a knee injury which has ruled him out of this summer’s European Championships.
Arsenal have been linked with Neto in the past, including in the most-recent January transfer window.
Mikel Arteta was in the market for a backup goalkeeper to Bernd Leno, with Runar Alex Runarsson not cutting the mustard since his arrival last summer.
Arsenal instead chose to sign Brighton’s Mat Ryan on loan until the end of the season.
However, Neto could again be an option for the Gunners this summer.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo say Neto will leave Barca at the end of the season.
That is despite the 31-year-old still having two years remaining on his contract.
Neto has made 11 appearances for Barca this season but his outing this Saturday will be his first since January 27.
The report claims Arsenal could reignite their interest in the player.

However, it is not clear what Barca would ask for in terms of a fee for the Brazilian.
Arsenal No 1 Leno has been linked with a move away from the club in recent days.
The Athletic named the German as one of five players who want to leave Arsenal this summer.
However, speaking at his press conference on Tuesday, Arteta insisted Leno is likely to stay.
“It’s another one with a contract here that because of the length of his contract, a lot of things will be speculating,” Arteta said.
“He has two years here and he belongs here.”
Willian is also linked with an exit after a disappointing first season at Arsenal.
However, Arteta again said he expects the winger to stay at the club.
He said of Willian: “First of all we signed a player with an incredible talent, a proven talent and performance level in this league, and this season has been difficult and I take full responsibility because I have to be the one getting the best out of him and we had moments but not to the level that he did before.
“This is an assessment that we will do individually with the players and with Edu, the board and the ownership to make the right decisions for the future.
“Every player that is under contract is very likely to be here with us next season.”
