Andre Onana hails ‘maestro’ Erik ten Hag ahead of making Man Utd transfer
Andre Onana reckons he is joining a managerial genius when he links up with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
And Onana, 27, admits the chance to join United from Inter Milan was an offer he just couldn't refuse.
The Cameroon goalkeeper is expected to undergo a medical ahead of his £47.2million move to Old Trafford. He has agreed a five-year-deal worth £200,000-a-week and will join his new team-mates on their pre-season tour of the United States.
Onana played under Ten Hag at Ajax – and believes the Dutchman is one of the best bosses in the business.

He said: "I really want to begin this new exciting adventure with a coach who as far as I'm concerned is a maestro.
"I'm going to play in a great league and for a great club which has an enormous amount of history just like Inter.

"It's important to be honest and tell the people the truth.
"I'm someone who's always looking for new challenges – and to play in the Premier League for a club like United is irresistible."
Onana was previously linked with a move to Saudi Arabia earlier in the summer amid the speculation he would succeed David de Gea at Old Trafford.
But keen to reunite under the Dutchman and become United’s new number one saw him shun the reported advances of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, rejecting a lucrative move to Saudi to pursue a Premier League career.
Ten Hag’s second summer transfer window at Old Trafford is taking shape with Onana finally about to see his transfer confirmed before joining up with his new teammates in the US – almost three weeks after De Gea’s contract expired.
The 27-year-old will technically be the Red Devils' third signing of the season after Jonny Evans agreed a ‘short-term deal’ with his former club following his release from relegated Leicester City.
