AFTV star Claude Callegari’s heartbreaking tweet just days before tragic death

AFTV star Claude Callegari sent a heartbreaking tweet just days before his tragic death.

The former Arsenal fan channel regular, 58, passed away on Monday afternoon.

Having been a lifelong Gunners fan, he became a popular figure before he was removed from the channel.

It was confirmed by current YouTube group the Bansta’s Boys that Callegari had been found dead.

And his Twitter channel, which has just over 16,000 followers, shows the tragic last post the 58-year-old published.

He was responding to a thread arguing where the Gunners would finish in comparison to Chelsea and Manchester United this season.

Posting on Sunday, March 28, just after 11:15am, Callegari wrote: “No one is forcing you to watch it don’t worry I will disappear soon to see my mother then you can all be happy.”

AFTV host Robbie Lyle confirmed later on Tuesday that Callegari had been found dead at his home.

He said after confirming the news: “It’s really, really sad. I’m totally devastated at the news.

“I got the news last night at around about 9 o’clock. A friend of ours Helen, who you see on AFTV, she went to Claude’s property and she alerted me to the fact that he had passed away.

“Claude, what can I say. As you know, he was no longer on AFTV, but we were still friends. We still spoke regularly. I remember speaking to him on several occasions.

“Claude was Arsenal through and through and he just missed being at Arsenal games, he missed the camaraderie of being at the games.”

And tributes have poured in for the 58-year-old, with former AFTV star, Troopz, shared a photo of him with Callegari.
