Aaron Ramsey is seriously considering a move to Liverpool in the transfer window. It comes as Juventus look to sell on a number of players in the summer.
Ramsey is considering a move to Liverpool in the transfer window but they are not the only ones.
The Reds are in the market for a central midfielder with the likely news that Georginio Wijnaldum will leave at the end of the season.
The Dutchman is out of contract in the summer and Barcelona are primed to land him for free.
That would be a major blow to Jurgen Klopp, who Wijnaldum is a key player under.
But a replacement has been mooted in the shape of Ramsey, who is looking to leave Juventus in the summer.
The Welshman’s time in Turin has been largely dogged by injuries and he has made 61 appearances in total over two seasons.
Costing the club £400,000-a-week in wages, Juve would prefer to sell the 30-year-old to free up funds elsewhere.
Andrea Pirlo has come under huge pressure after crashing out of the Champions League but he is expected to be allowed to splash some cash in the summer transfer window.
According to CalcioMercato, Liverpool are at the front of the queue to land the ex-Arsenal star.
But West Ham are also in the hunt for the Wales international.
However, they would need to beat Chelsea to fourth place in the Premier League and play in the Champions League next season.
Ramsey has been out injured in recent weeks and has been ruled out of Wales’ World Cup qualifiers this week.
He is not the only one facing a summer exit at Juventus, including Adrien Rabiot and Cristiano Ronaldo.
