NBA superstar and LA Lakers new boy Russell Westbrook has been praised for being 'comfortable and confident' while wearing a dress.
Westbrook was already a nine-time NBA all-star and former MVP of the league before he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers from the Washington Wizards in early August.
However, it was on the East Coast where Westbrook has been making his most recent headlines.
Westbrook appeared at New York fashion week wearing a cream cardigan with a long white skirt and black boots.
And NBA fans have praised Westbrook for his latest outfit, which he shared on social media.
One fan tweeted: "Westbrook got swag people hating him for being himself means he’s winning."
While another added: "Comfort in his masculinity means that despite partaking in what society considers feminine (it's actually not feminine but that's a different topic).
"He is confident in himself that he is still just as much of a man despite what bullies may say."
"What’s wrong with a guy wearing a skirt," another questioned.
However, not all were impressed with the outfit: "Bro what are you wearing respectfully take that off," one fan replied.

Westbrook is recognised as one of the best point guards in the NBA.
Westbrook spent almost a decade at the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he burst into the scene as one of the top players in the NBA.
However, his trade to the Lakers is his third trade in four seasons following spells at the Wizards and the Houston Rockets.
The Lakers secured the superstar alongside three second-round picks for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell, Kyle Kuzma and the draft rights to Isaiah Jackson.
