UFC legend tells Jake Paul "stop running" and offers £25m winner-takes-all fight

UFC legend Vitor Belfort has called out Jake Paul and challenged him to a £25million winner-takes-all fight following his win over boxing legend Evander Holyfield.

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Belfort took on Holyfield, 58, in the main event of Triller's Fight Club event in Florida at the weekend.

The 44-year-old knocked Holyfield down and the referee stopped the bout soon after in the first round to give him the technical knockout victory in the exhibition match.

After the bell he got straight to business for his next fight, telling Paul he wants him in the ring and laying a huge amount of money on the line.

Belfort said in his post-fight interview: "We've got $25 million, the winner takes all.

"Let's go. Hey Jake Paul, stop running from me, man. I'm gonna teach you a lesson. You can be my kid, you're gonna meet daddy over here at Triller!

"Stop running. You're a little b**ch."

Triller promoter Ryan Kavanaugh then upped the amount: "$30m, winner takes all. If Jake says no, we know why."

Paul is 4-0 in his professional career, most recently defeating another ex-UFC star Tyron Woodley by split decision last month.

That bout was hosted by Showtime who The Problem Child is currently contracted to, though his previous two fights were under the Triller banner.

He fought former NBA player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson's comeback fight and then headlined his own show with Ben Askren.

Paul has a 20-year age advantage over Belfort but would be facing the man who is tied in third for the most UFC finishes in history.

His 14 is only bettered by Donald Cerrone and Charles Oliveira, exemplifying the explosive knockout power he is known for and that took Holyfield out.

Paul currently has designs on a fight with Tyson Fury's younger brother, Tommy, but would be unlikely to make as much money from that as he could from accepting Belfort's challenge.
