Four Moves Ahead hoping to bounce back in Sweet Embrace

A Tuesday morning track gallop will determine if Four Moves Ahead takes her place in the Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes on Saturday with trainer John Sargent confident his unbeaten filly can put a minor setback behind her.

Sargent was forced to scratch Four Moves Ahead from Saturday‘s Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill after the filly injured herself when she kicked out at his Randwick stables last week.

“She must have got cast and knocked her knee but if we didn’t get it down and back to normal quick in a bid to get her there on Saturday, we might have missed out next week as well,” Sargent said.

“We had to treat her and take her out but she seems fine in herself.

“She worked on Saturday morning and seemed fine so she will gallop on Tuesday.

“Nash Rawiller has been booked to ride and it‘s all systems go if she gallops well, gets vet checked and passes.”

Sargent was disappointed Four Moves Ahead was unable to line up in the Silver Slipper, which was claimed by the Chris Waller-trained Home Affairs.

However, Sargent’s daughter of Snitzel will get another chance to secure ballot exemption for the Golden Slipper should she win the Sweet Embrace at Randwick.

The filly is currently rated a $17 chance with TAB.com.au to win the Golden Slipper, which will be staged at Rosehill on March 20.

Four Moves Ahead is also listed at $15 for the Inglis Sires’ Produce two weeks later.

Meanwhile, Chris Waller confirmed Magic Millions placegetter She’s All Class would likely be nominated for next week’s Sweet Embrace.

The run will determine if she presses on to the Golden Slipper, where She’s All Class is rated a $17 shot.
