Hideki Matsuyama holds the lead heading into the final round of The Masters after a miraculous seven-under par round on Saturday. Moving day at The Masters lived up to expectation with a host of players putting themself into contention.
Justin Rose held the lead through the opening two rounds and looked in a good place to build on that on Saturday.
The leaderboard was tightly packed though before play was suspended due to adverse weather.
After an hour, play was resumed and the break clearly did Matsuyama the world of good as he came out firing.
The Japanese golf star expertly worked around Amen Corner, coming away with back-to-back birdies on the difficult 11th and 12th.

But it was on the 15th where Matsuyama went on a roll, picking up an eagle to take the solo lead.
And he followed that up with excellent birdies on 16 and 17 before finishing with a par at the last to leave him on 11-under par for the tournament.
DON’T MISS
A few players who looked to be in contention heading into Saturday such as Collin Morikawa, Cameron Champ and Justin Thomas were unable to make the most of the inviting conditions though as they slipped down the leaderboard.
Matsuyama holds a commanding lead over the chasing pack heading into the final round, but there’s still plenty to play for.
