Tyron Woodley has accused KSI of ‘flaking’ on their fight after leaking his contract for the proposed bout. According to the paperwork the pair were set to face each other on January 14 over six three-minute rounds in an undisclosed location over in the United States.

But below all of those details is a rehydration clause that has raised a few eyebrows. Woodley was told he could not rehydrate any more than 185lb on the day of the fight (Saturday) after making the 175lb limit on Friday.

Given all of the known dangers of dehydration and the fact that both men walk around at a similar weight, the choice to insert such a clause caused a stir with Woodley, who wrote on Instagram: “@KSI wanted me not to rehydrate then flaked.”

He added: “@ksi Why would you offer me a fight vs you then bail? Why would you send me a contract to b*** out and take a lesser opponent? Why would you have my name in your mouth for two years and not step up? Why do a poll of 1million people, that all said fight me, and you run. #KSI We need answers. Now y’all go troll the troll. Saturday he will announce he ran.”

And the clause wasn’t well received by fans either. Breezejj412 posted: “@KSI how you gonna want to fight somebody, but want to keep them dehydrated for over 24hrs???”

@StevenV1250 said: “Didn’t ksi clown jake for doing rehydration clause and he doing the same thing.”

@TheGoldenTalk30 concluded: “I mean it kinda is unrealistic. He wants woodley to weigh 170 to weigh in. Making woodley unable to rehydrate not only is it very hard to do that quite literally be extremely bad for his health.”

KSI is expected to announce his next opponent on Saturday after returning to the ring for the first time in two and a half years to face two men on the same night. The British YouTube star kicked off his own card by knocking out rapper Swarmz in the second round before stopping journeyman boxer Luis Pineda in the third.

A number of YouTube outlets have reported that KSI will most likely face English businessman Joe Fournier next, who is best known for his exhibition bout with former two-weight world champion David Haye – which took place last year.
