Tyson Fury teases tag-team boxing bout with brother Tommy vs Jake and Logan Paul

As if it wasn't hard enough to get one of his family members in the ring against Jake Paul, Tyson Fury has touted the prospect of a four-way face-off involving both broods.

The younger Paul sibling will go up against Fury's half-brother, Tommy, in Saudi Arabia on February 26 after months of back-and-forth between the two parties. Meanwhile, 'The Gypsy King' is expected to go up against Oleksandr Usyk in a battle to unify the world heavyweight titles, though that bout is yet to be confirmed.

On the same night it was announced the younger Fury fighter would be going up against 'The Problem Child', WBC titleholder Tyson surprised Paul backstage at London's OVO Arena. And Fury, 34, wasn't without his usual wit as he concocted a plan that would see him and Tommy take on Jake and Logan at the same time.

"I think it's gonna be a great fight. Obviously, I'm backing my own brother against Jake and I'm sure his brother will do," said Fury after crashing Paul's interview with JOE. "But I've got an idea, we could do this as a little tag-team match. When he gets tired, tag his brother in, I'll tag my brother in. Boom!"

It should come as no surprise that Fury is into the idea of a tag-team encounter given he's made multiple appearances inside the WWE ring to date. The format is yet to make its way into regulated boxing, but perhaps the Wythenshawe native has inadvertently stumbled upon a revolutionary idea.

Who do you think would come out on top in Tyson Fury's tag-team matchup? Let us know in the comments section.

The concept of a Fury versus battle royale would be sure to attract widespread attention among many of those fans who are newer to combat sports. 'Influencer boxing' and novelty fights are en vogue in a transforming fight landscape, with Dana White's 'Slap Fighting' and 'Car Jitsu' among some of the industry's more outlandish ideas.

A meeting between the Furys and the Pauls also comes with one obvious obstacle in that The Gypsy King's participation would give the former a distinct advantage. Paul is 6-0 as a professional fighter, though there is great consternation around the validity of his fights, with 'TNT' set to be his first active boxing opponent.

There may be merit in the four-way matchup if the eldest Fury were to have one arm tied behind his back for the bout. And such an idea may well appeal to the Pauls who, to their credit, have shown little inclination to back down from any challenges issued in their direction.

For now, at least, both Tommy Fury and Jake Paul will focus fully on their upcoming clash in Riyadh, which has been more than a year in the making. Their feud is unlikely to end regardless of this month's result, however, when either loser could decide to fetch their big brother in pursuit of a rematch.
