Ebanie Bridges has stated that she defeated Bec Connolly in her last fight using “only my right arm” after suffering a gruesome muscle tear just a few weeks prior to fight night.
Bridges, who now boasts a professional boxing record of 6-1, took to Instagram earlier today and shared the shocking news with her 235k followers.
“Practice makes perfect.”
“For the last few weeks of camp I only had my right arm so I practiced this shot so many times.
“I was gutted when I tore my left lat but I wasn’t pulling out cos I still had my right!
The caption was accompanied by a short clip of Bridges repeatedly throwing an overhand right at a heavy bag. Practice clearly did make perfect, as Bridges would end the fight with the punch she had been working on for weeks.
The Blonde Bomber faced Connolly last weekend and defeated the veteran via third-round stoppage.
Bridges was dominant throughout the bout, landing the heavier shots from the opening bell.
During the bout, there were no signs that the Aussie’s left arm was compromised, as she threw constant jabs and wild left hooks at her opponent.

In the third round, Bridges dropped Connolly with a flurry of powerful left and right hands.
While Connolly was able to find the strength to return to her feet, she appeared visibly shaken.
Immediately after the fight was resumed, Bridges pounced on her opponent and fired a vicious overhand right that forced the referee to call a stop to the contest.
Following the bout, Bridges was asked who she was interested in facing next and the Blonde Bomber claimed she only has one woman in mind.
"Well obviously I want the rematch with Shannon [Courtenay]," the Aussie claimed.
"You know, that's what everyone wants, not just me. I want it, the fans want it, pretty sure Eddie Hearn wants it.
"I'm pretty sure that the only person who doesn't want it is her. Hopefully she wants it, but then again, she's on her journey and I've got to focus on me.
"I don't hold my breath. Really the ball's in her court and if she doesn't take it, I suppose it looks like she's running."
