Sunny Edwards challenges for the IBF flyweight title against Moruti Mthalane tonight at York Hall in what looks set to be a cracker. The clash tops the Queensbury promotions bill that will also be shown on ESPN+ in the United States.

The South African champion, 38, is out to prove that aged is just a number as he swaps KwaZulu-Natal for East London.

Mthalane has lost just twice in 41 fights with his career starting way back in 2000.

Edwards had not long turned four at that point but he feels his time is now, as he looks to become Britain’s latest world champion.

He was last in action against Thomas Essomba back in August last summer, when he successfully outpointed the Cameroonian.

That’s because Mthalane has not tasted defeat in 13 years when he was beaten by future Hall of Famer Nonito Donaire in Las Vegas.

Also on the card is highly-rated Northern Irishman Michael Conlan, who is looking to edge closer towards a world title shot.

The Belfast star is fighting at super-bantamweight for the first time as he takes on Romanian Ionut Baluta in a 10-rounder.

Here are all the details you need to know to watch the action…
