Beyonce and J-Lo ‘to light up Fury v Ngannou Saudi afterparty’, claims Amir Khan
British boxing legend Amir Khan claims the music world’s heavyweights will be in at Tyson Fury’s clash against Francis Ngannou – and they may even make an appearance at the after party.
Fury takes on the former UFC heavyweight champion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As one of the biggest and most glamorous events in fighting history, it has inevitably attracted some huge guests.
Khan is one of those names currently in the Middle East for the colossal affair. On his way from the airport to Riyadh, the former lightweight world champion claims to have been told by some of the natives that some goddesses from the music world will be at the fight and afterparty.

“I have been hearing some names recently who might be attending,” Khan teased, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star Sport, on behalf of WOW Hydrate. “Beyonce, J-Lo.
“What’s the other one? Shakira. A few names. We heard them in the taxi. When the normal taxi drivers are coming out with names like that, you know they know something that we don’t know.”

It would not be the first time Beyonce has been seen at a major fighting event. The All the Single Ladies star watched Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez’s clash against Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, all the way back in 2015.
In 2017, Jennifer Lopez was also spotted at the ‘Money Fight’ between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor alongside Alex Rodriguez. While Shakira’s interest in boxing is rather unknown, she does have a love for sport having followed the performances of ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique and also been seen watching Formula 1 after romance links to Lewis Hamilton.
Not that they would need any extra motivation, but the presence of three of music’s most dominant pop stars would surely add an extra layer of tension to any performance. Fury is the heavy favourite going into the clash against Ngannou, who has never fought in a competitive boxing match.
The Cameroonian has been given a ‘puncher’s chance’ at best, but he is still the heavy underdog. Maybe a fire would be lit in the giant's eyes if he caught a glimpse of the pop stars in the crowd?
