Pannie Kianzad was left with her two front teeth missing and a gruesome nose injury despite winning at UFC Vegas 51.

The Iranian-born Swedish MMA star had her face disfigured by bantamweight opponent and fellow countrywoman Lina Lansberg but came out on top over the course of the three-round fight. Not fazed by the war wounds, she pointed to her mouth and posed for the cameras before popping her teeth back into place.

Once she had a full set of gnashers again, Kianzad said: "I have a glimpse of memories from the fight. I feel like the first round I had really good ground, taking her back and I got good ground and pound in.

"In the second round I felt really good then I found myself on the ground. I couldn't understand, did I get knocked out? It was really fast so I believe she could have won the round but I took it back right after that so I didn't feel [the knockdown] was super-meaningful.

"If I was still on the ground and being punched that would be bad. I took the third round back and I felt my hands were sharp. I got a cut on her at the beginning of the fight and then I got cut and everything was bleeding.

"I felt fast and the stuff I was thinking I could have problems with, I felt strong. That means everything I worked on really worked."

Former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Kianzad is now 5-2 since signing with Dana White's promotion in 2019. She lost her debut fight but then won four on the bounce before being bested by Raquel Pennington last September.

Eyeing up her next bout, she called out Aspen Ladd, who also lost to Pennington last week. "I think me and Aspen Ladd should fight now," Kianzad continued.

"She had a great fight with Rocky, she lost and I thought Rocky looked great. She was in the 145lb division before but she's keen on staying at 135lb and I feel that's the match to make.

"She beat Lena, I beat Lena, so let's go. I see myself fighting in late summer if I can. This is what I do. How many times can you say I'm a UFC fighter? I do this for a living and I want to do it until I can't do it anymore."
