UFC fighter sent flying in ‘cartoon’ knockout that left him with squashed chin
UFC fighter Johnny Walker suffered a devastating knock-out on Saturday night which saw him memed on social media.
The light heavyweight, 29, met Jamahal Hill in the octagon for their main event clash where he entered the cage in typically showy fashion, shaking his hips and dancing.
But the Brazilian was humbled in shocking fashion within three minutes of the opening round, after an exquisitely-timed counter right-hand punch by Hill caught him square in the face.
Walker was knocked off his feet as his legs turned to jelly, resulting in him disturbingly falling backwards in a way compared by fans to a cartoon character.
Hill then followed up his vicious strike with a savage strike which ensured his rival was put to sleep.
And Walker, who was saved by the referee's intervention, finished the fight with his head against the cage and his chin squashed onto his chest.
Fans took to social media to express their shock at the brutal knock-out, with one tweeting: “Sick KO by Jamahal Hill. Walker fell down like a tree.”
Another wrote: “Bro why’d he fall like a cartoon character."
Hill, 30, broke down his vicious finish after the fight as he dealt Walker his seventh career defeat.

He said: “I timed that one coming forward.
“I just threw and it landed and it landed clean. Because if that one didn’t land, I had another one coming right behind it. It was good.”
With a 4-1 UFC record, the American could soon push himself into contention for the 205lbs title if he lands similar results in the near future.
Hill added: “I’m ready to come for that [title].
“Right now, we’re going to see. I’m going to get with the head bosses and see what makes sense.”
