Megan Fox says Donald Trump ‘a legend’ at Conor McGregor fight

American actress Megan Fox said former US President Donald Trump was received like a “legend” during his appearance at UFC 264 on the weekend.

A stack of celebrities flocked to Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena to take their seats ahead of the main event at UFC 264, where Dustin Poirier secured his second victory over Conor McGregor in the Octagon.

The Irish superstar gruesomely broke his leg late in the first round, and had to be stretchered out of the venue.

Trump — a good friend of UFC boss Dana White — was in attendance, with both cheers and boos ringing out when he arrived before the co-main event between Gilbert Burns and Stephen Thompson.

Fox posed for pictures alongside musician Machine Gun Kelly, and the pair were seated in the same row as the 75-year-old Trump — which gave the Hollywood star slight cause for concern.

“It was hectic, it was wild,” Fox said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I’m actually a huge UFC fan. I have UFC Fight Pass and I know all the fighters and their backstories.

“Whenever it’s Conor, it’s always insane.

“I was in a row with (Justin) Bieber, (Donald) Trump was also in my row.

“And I’ve never seen secret service in person before. So, he had like 30 secret service with him. He was a legend. That arena was, like, very supportive of Trump when he came in.

“I was like, ‘I don’t know how I feel about this, because if someone is a target, then I’m like, I could get harmed because I am adjacent to where he is.’ So, I was worried about my own safety, that’s all I was caring about.

“It was crazy.”

Fox is known for her roles in the Transformers movies and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
