Conor McGregor faces the third bought of his trilogy with Dustin Poirier in UFC 264 tonight, hoping to avoid a third defeat in four fights.
McGregor was defeated by Poirier in a second-round win in February, but the Irishman has vowed to earn revenge and dubbed it a ‘fluke’.
“It was a fluke win and I’m going to correct it on Saturday night,” McGregor said last week.
He first defeated his American rival in 2014 with a first-round knockout.
McGregor has told Poirier that he plans to finish his career in their bout in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“In 16 hours’ time this man is going to learn if you take a person’s kindness and take it as a weakness, you must pay,” the 32-year-old said at the final press conference on Friday.

He continued: “Tomorrow night I’m going to make this man pay with his life and I mean it. You are dead in that Octagon tomorrow night!”
Poirier hit back: “And I know Conor was talking crazy yesterday about killing me and all that,” said Poirier. “I go to sleep praying every night that he gets home to his family safe.
“I’m not here to hurt anybody or do anything like that. So I just want to put that out there.”
