Khabib’s father invited Conor McGregor to his home after ‘forgiving’ UFC star

Conor McGregor is even upsetting his most loyal fans after his recent heartless tweet concerning Khabib Nurmagomedov's late father overstepped the line.

Despite the friction between the pair during recent years, fans have recently regurgitated a video from 2018 which shows Nurmagomedov's father, Abdulmanap, forgiving the Irishman, and inviting him to their home.

The Notorious fired out a shocking tweet that appeared to mock the death of Nurmagomedov's father, after the Russian congratulated Dustin Poirier on his victory over McGregor.

This recent outburst caused outrage online, before McGregor panicked and quickly deleted the tweet, but the damage had already been done.

Nurmagomedov's congratulatory tweet to Poirier simply read: "good always defeats evil", which may have been a tough read for an incensed McGregor, but the reaction was beyond cruel.

The Irishman replied: "Covid is good and father is evil?"

McGregor’s message clearly referenced Nurmagomedov’s father Abdulmanap, who lost his life due to health complications after contracting COVID-19 during the global pandemic.

These comments drove fans to resurface footage of Nurmagomedov’s father Abdulmanap, who was keen to show McGregor there was no animosity or hatred. During the video he said: "Today I invited Conor to our home."

He reassured: "Yes, I made this statement. I invited him as a guest. He can visit Dagestan why not … It's all in the past, we should not stop there, life goes on.

"Our religion should show grace not only in words but also in deeds. If he comes you will see that he will be our dear guest."

Nurmagomedov has already officially retired, and following McGregor's leg-break and vile comments, it is doubtful that he will return to the Octagon.
