Drake pockets £1.2million after backing Scouse UFC duo Pimblett and McCann
Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett and Molly 'Meatball' McCann were both victorious during UFC London on Saturday night, but Drake was perhaps the biggest winner of them all.
The Scouse UFC duo have risen to stardom, and both finished their opponents inside two rounds at the O2 Arena on Saturday. It was never in doubt that Pimblett and McCann would send the English crowd wild, but Canadian rapper Drake will also be celebrating their victories.
They say the rich get richer, and that's certainly the case here. As Drake dropped a mega £1.9million bet on both stars to win, and enjoyed a cool £1.2m profit in return.

Posting an update to his official Instagram story on the morning of July 23, Drake added the caption: "A scousers parlay @stake." But his 'stake' is far more than most of us will ever be able to dream of, although it was a small percentage of Drake's vast riches.
The 35-year-old sports fanatic has an estimated net worth of £208million, and that's now risen by another £1.2m after the Scouse duo delivered on home soil. The Canadian went against his neighbouring country of the United States, as it was Britain vs America for both bouts.
But Drake made the right choice, and he's now on a UFC betting streak after winning £826,000 the last time Israel Adesanya fought. Until then, Drake was known for 'cursing' outcomes with his bets, but now he's beginning to bless them.
McCann was up first, and she attempted another spinning elbow to knock out her opponent Hannah Goldy. Her brutal hit landed, and McCann went on to win by TKO during the first round after humbling Goldy with ease.
Then, it was all down to Pimblett, who faced a rocky start against Jordan Leavitt as the American held his own during the opening stages. But there is perhaps no better UFC star than Pimblett when he's on his back, and the Scouse star won via submission in the second round.
McCann was already seen having drinks moments after finishing her opponent on Saturday night, and her close friend and training partner Pimblett will likely follow. But Drake will also be raising a glass as he's now won £2m with his recent UFC bets.
